Picture windows never looked this good! For this project in Naples, Florida, we covered a Lifetime Restoration with picture windows installation.

By installing new picture windows, you can make your home more energy-efficient and give the outside a much-needed facelift. It can easily make your home look a lot better and give you great views and better control over drafts.

So, why choose picture windows? This window type features a large glass area that lets in a lot of natural light and gives you a better view. Because these windows have a simple design and aren't mulled, you can see outside without obstructions. They have tight seals all around the edges to keep out the weather and keep the heat in. This helps lower your energy bills and makes your home feel more open and brighter.

Project Specifications

  • Re-screen: Rescreen with Superscreen 17/14
  • Fasteners: Replace All Fasteners with Blue-tap Stainless, Pro-Tect Tapcons
  • Repaint of Aluminum structure to make the old enclosure look new (Sherwin Williams) Hi-Solids Polyurethane sprayed on electrostatically

Working on the restoration process, all of the screws were replaced with Blue-tap Stainless, Pro-Tect Tapcons. This fastener adds strength and stability to ensure a worry-free installation process. Then, our team painted the enclosure with an electrostatically charged Hi-solid Polyurethane.

Lastly, Super Screen® 17/14 Standard Mesh was used to rescreen all the panels. This mesh material offers maximum protection and durability with the clearest view. Additionally, our team also converted the front wall of the screen enclosure to silver Clear View in beautiful bronze with new vertical posts.

The entire main load-bearing wall was updated to the current building code. We also utilized solid, not stitched vertical posts. Fewer aluminum members decrease the probability of damage in a hurricane.
