This week, we restored the 2-story enclosure of a client in Naples. After seeing our enclosure restoration projects online, they called us to make their pool cage look brand new again.

This is what their old enclosure looked like. It had damaged screens, rusty fasteners, faded paint, and stained frames. Their screens are very old, so it was not a surprise that there were many tears in it. To make it look brand new again and prevent bugs from invading the area, our client availed our Lifetime Restoration Package. This includes repainting, rescreening, and replacing the fasteners of the entire structure with better materials that come with a longer warranty.

Before we started our restoration process, we first covered the pool, deck, and other areas outside the structure to prevent getting paint or debris on them. Next, we removed the screens so it will be easier to replace the fasteners and repaint the structure. For the fasteners, we installed Blue-tap Nylotech and Stainless Pro-Tect Tapcons, which is a durable model that comes with a 10-year warranty. Then we applied Sherwin Williams Hi-Solids Polyurethane, which we sprayed on electrostatically. Besides the enclosure, we also repainted the second-story handrail. Lastly, we rescreened all panels with Superscreen 14/16. This mesh is great for large openings and it can withstand strong wind pressure without tearing. It’s three times stronger than the standard screen so this client won’t need an upgrade for a long time.

It took our efficient crew less than 2 weeks to restore this large enclosure. It now looks brand new again and our client won’t have to see rusty fasteners, stained frames, or worry about bugs invading their pool area.
