This week, we replaced the pool cage of a client in Naples.

Mr. Alfes saw that his enclosure was due for replacement, so he hired us to get the job done. We replaced his existing pool cage without changing the footprint.

Before working on-site, we prepared the permit, engineering and site plans. Once everything is settled, we removed the old structure. As seen in the photo above, the pool area is cage-less but surrounded by an orange net. This orange netting is used as a safety fence to prevent anyone from wandering in the area or falling into the pool. Even if this rarely happens, it’s a security measure required by law.

For the new structure, some parts were installed using site-specific laser cut and leveling while other parts were prefabricated in our facility. Compared to most pool enclosures, which have a rise in the roof that is approximately 3 inches, this pool cage had a steeper rise, approximately 4 inches to provide a roomier feeling. For the supergutter, this part is 7 inches.

The new design also has a Clearview Configuration of members, providing our client with a maximized view. For the fasteners, we used Blue-Tap, which are durable fasteners that come with a 10-year warranty. The structure is painted with 2604 Powder Coat Finish. Lastly, we installed Superscreen 14/17 which also comes with a 10-year warranty.

Our client is happy with his brand new pool cage! He doesn’t have to worry about insects or damaged screens for a long time.
