This week, we head on to Fort Myers to do another pool cage restoration project.

Mr. MacDougall called us to restore his enclosure as well as convert it to a picture window. He availed the Value Restoration Package with Bronze Picture Window Package. The restoration package includes a repaint, re-screen, and fastener replacement using different materials to lower the project cost. For the Bronze Package, we replace a part of one side of the pool cage.

After we covered the pool and deck area with plastic, we repainted it with water-based and corrosion-resistant acrylic paint. We also replaced the fasteners with durable 4000hr ceramic-coated steel and the screens with Standard Phifer 18/14 throughout the whole cage. You can see in the before photo of the fasteners how rusty they were. By applying new paint and changing the fasteners, the pool cage looks new again!

Here’s what the enclosure looks like from the outside. We were able to complete this project in less than a week. If you’re wondering why it looks taller, it’s because it has 12-inch tall sides, just look at the double chair rail.

It looks great from the outside, as well as the inside! Look at the satisfied smile of our client.
