We also went to Bonita Springs this week to do a pool cage restoration with a picture window project.

Our client saw our picture window projects on Facebook and wanted to get it done on their existing pool cage. Aside from availing our Bronze Picture Window Package, they also got our Value Restoration Package. The first package will remove the beams for a part of one side of their pool cage. The second one includes fastener replacement, repaint, and re-screen using different materials to lower the project cost.

The first thing we do on-site is to cover the pool and deck area with plastic. We don’t want any paint drips or debris to ruin the finish or contaminate the pool water. After, we replace the fasteners with 4000hr ceramic-coated steel. You can see a close-up of this material in the photo above.

Next, we repaint the frames with acrylic paint, which is water-based and corrosion-resistant. For the screens, we replaced all panels with Standard Phifer 18/14. Screens are durable when they are newly installed, but this mesh can withstand strong gusts of wind for three years. It will eventually weaken with age and can be easily damaged during a regular storm after seven years.

We completed this project in less than a week! Our client is happy that their pool enclosure looks brand new again and that there are no more beams blocking their view.
