We completed another pool cage restoration project, but this time, our client from Bonita Springs also wanted a picture window conversion.

Mr. Phelan wanted to convert his existing pool cage into a picture window to maximize the view. He hired us to get the job done as well as restore his enclosure. He availed our Lifetime Restoration Package which includes replacing everything with better materials and subsequently longer warranty.

When we arrived on-site, we first covered the entire pool and deck with plastic. We then removed the screen so it will be easier to replace the fasteners and paint the frames. For the fasteners, we used the Nylotech model, which is a durable fastener with a 10-year warranty. We then applied Hi-solid Polyurethane with an electrostatic charge. This is more efficient to use on metal surfaces. Lastly, we rescreened all the panels with a Superscreen 14/16. This mesh is three times stronger than the standard screen and can withstand strong gusts of winds even if installed on large openings.

Our client is happy that we finished the project in one week. Their pool cage looks brand new and they don’t have frames obstructing their nice view anymore.
