Our clients usually get a re-screen when they find a panel is damaged, but there are times when they call for a full re-screen. It’s because when screens are over 10 years old, it might not be effective in preventing bugs from invading your pool area. If you’re not sure when to get a full re-screen, here are 5 signs that it’s time to get one! Mr. Taylor opted for a full re-screen because it was going to be less inexpensive than replacing per panel and better in the long-run. This week, we replaced all his screens with Standard Phifer 18/14. All screens are durable when it’s newly installed, but this mesh can withstand strong gusts of winds for 3 years. It eventually weakens with age and would be easily tearable from a regular storm after 7 years.

We completed this project in less than two days. Our client was very happy, as you can see in this photo!
