A screen enclosure is a great additional outdoor living space for your home. It protects you from the sun, rain, and pesky insects. It’s also easy to install in houses and buildings.

This week, Mr. Crudele hired us to replace his current screen enclosure. He wanted to convert it into a picture window to maximize the view. Similar to a pool enclosure, a picture window conversion project for an enclosure like this also requires engineering and a structural permit.

After everything is approved, we can replace the screen enclosure in a day or two. We did our picture window configuration then installed Superscreen. This mesh is great for large openings and is three times stronger than the standard screen.

Our client won’t need a re-screen for a long time. He can also now enjoy this insect-free area without frames obstructing his view.
