Does your pool cage look like an eyesore? Are you annoyed with the frames obstructing the view? This week, a client from Fort Myers hired us to make his pool cage look brand new again and re-engineer it for a better view.

Mr. McConnell wanted to restore his enclosure because it had faded paint and rusty fasteners. He availed our Lifetime Restoration Package which includes repainting, rescreening, and replacing the fasteners with better materials the come with a longer warranty. He also added a Gold Clearview Conversion package, which we will re-engineer all sides of his pool cage for maximum view.

Here is a before and after photo of his pool cage. The members were discolored and the fasteners were rusty. To make it look like the ones in the after photo, we applied our restoration process. What did we do? We first covered the pool and deck with plastic. Next, we removed the screens and replaced all the fasteners. We used the Nylotec model which is a durable fastener that comes with a 10-year warranty. Next, we painted the entire structure using Hi-solid Polyurethane with an electrostatic charge. Lastly, we rescreened all the panels with a Superscreen 14/16. This mesh is great for large openings and will be able to withstand strong gusts of winds for years.

We also re-engineered the enclosure for a better view. Here is what it looked like with frames obstructing the view. For the after photo, this is the result of our picture window conversion project. We completed this part of the project before restoration. For the construction part, we mostly prefabricated the frames in our shop. After getting the permits needed, we installed the structure. It took us two weeks to complete this project. Our client is glad that his pool cage looks great again and has a better view!
