Make the most out of your yard space by getting an insect-free screen room. That’s what our client from Naples hired us to do this week.

For this project, we installed a 48’x10′ screen room with a concrete foundation. The foundation is a 4-inch nominal slab with 8-inch footers and was reinforced with #5 rebar.

We also installed a 3-inch composite roof, which lasts longer than a pan roof. This is also made out of metal but it has a foam core, which will help it withstand impact and provide more insulation underneath. For the screen, we used Superscreen 14/16, a mesh that is great for large openings. We also added a 12-inch kick plate around the enclosure. A typical door kick plate is 8 inches but we remade their door with 12 inches so it would look seamless.

Doesn’t this look like a nice place to relax? Feel the cool breeze, free from bugs, and shade from the sun.
