One way to extend your outdoor area is by installing a new enclosure, just like what we did for a client in Naples. Mr. and Ms. Kenney called us to build a new screen enclosure on their existing pool deck.

Before we started building on-site, we first had to prepare permits and work on the engineering and site plans. After doing more than a hundred screen enclosure projects, we can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else. Our client also doesn’t have to worry about the details since there’s a dedicated project manager to handle everything.

After settling the permits, we quickly got to work on-site. Check out some of the work-in-progress photos above. Most of the parts for the structure were professionally prefabricated from our facility, while the rest were site-specific laser cut and leveled. For the fasteners, we used Blue-Tap fasteners that come with a 10-year warranty.

This design has a flat roof and then we screened-in the entire structure with Superscreen 17/20 or No-See-Um, which also comes with a 10-year warranty. It looks darker because it’s thicker and tighter than a standard screen, but this won’t change the outward visibility. Speaking of visibility, we also used a Clearview configuration of the members so that our client can enjoy the view. Lastly, we installed double 36″x80″ doors on the front wall and a single 36″x80″ door on the left return wall.

Our efficient crew completed this project in less than a week. Before, it was only their under truss lanai area that was bug-free, but after rebuilding their under truss section and installing a new screen enclosure, they now have a bigger insect-free outdoor area.
