This week, we restored the pool cage of a client from Naples. Mr. Botthof hired us for an enclosure restoration project because he noticed that the fasteners were rusty, there were stains on the aluminum structure, and the paint was fading. He availed our Lifetime Restoration Package which includes a repaint, re-screen, and fastener replacement with better materials that have a longer warranty.

When we got on-site, the first thing we did was to cover the pool and deck. Next, we replaced the fasteners. The photo on the left shows what the fasteners looked like before. We replaced these with the Nylotec model, which is more durable and has a 10-year warranty. After, we painted the entire aluminum structure with Hi-solid Polyurethane with an electrostatic charge. For the screens, we used Superscreen 14/16, a mesh that is 3x stronger than the standard screen.

Doesn’t the after photo look great? We also installed an 8-inch kickplate around the bottom. This helps keep the dirt out and protects the enclosure from pets and lawn equipment. Our efficient crew was able to complete the project in less than two weeks. Mr. Botthof won’t need an upgrade for a long time.
