This week, we restored the pool enclosure of a client from Naples. After seeing our enclosure restoration projects on Facebook, Mr. Fowler hired us to make his pool cage look new again. He availed our Value Restoration Package, which includes a repaint, re-screen, and fastener replacement using different materials to lower the project cost. Here’s a close-up of what his old pool cage looks like (photo on the left). After our restoration process, it now looks like the photo on the right.
For all restoration projects, we always cover the deck and pool before starting the process. Next, we remove the screens and replace the fasteners. For this project, we installed 4000hr ceramic-coated steel. We then painted the structure with acrylic paint, which is water-based and corrosion-resistant. Lastly, we replaced the screens with Standard Phifer 18/14. This screen model can withstand strong gusts of winds for 3 years. All screens are durable when it’s newly installed, but this mesh will only be easily tearable from a regular storm after 7 years.
We were able to complete this project in less than two weeks. Our client is glad that his pool cage looks brand new again. It also has durable screens to prevent bugs from invading his home, and he also doesn’t need an upgrade for a long time.
