It’s almost the end of summer in our sunny state and we’re about to experience early fall weather this weekend. According to NBC’s forecast, we can expect sunny skies with some early evening showers. But don’t forget to bring your umbrellas because there could still be some sprinkles during the afternoon, especially on Monday.

Another great thing about fall is we can experience a nice breeze when we’re relaxing outdoors. That’s why we had several clients this week who hired us to replace their under-truss lanai screen enclosures and install a front entryway. What better way to enjoy the breeze but in an insect-free enclosure?

You’ll also see some of our pool cage restoration with picture window conversion projects. We even refinished the deck and also replaced tapcons for some of our clients. Continue reading to find out more about these projects.

Pool Cage Restoration with Picture Window and Deck Refinishing

This week, our first project in Bonita Springs is a pool enclosure restoration and picture window conversion.

Mr. Weber hired us to restore his pool cage after seeing our website. He availed the lifetime package which we replace parts of his enclosure with better materials that have a long warranty. The fasteners were replaced with Nylotec which comes with a 10-year warranty. Then we repainted the whole enclosure with electrostatic paint. For the screen, we used Superscreen 14/16 mesh all over the pool cage.

Aside from restoration, he also wanted our picture window conversion service. He availed our Gold Clearview Conversion package so we re-engineered all of his enclosure’s sides to maximize the view. Here is his brand new-looking pool cage with no frames to obstruct his view.

He also asked us to refinish his deck. We used stamped concrete overlay which is stamped concrete that is applied over the old or existing concrete. The photo below shows the before and after of the deck. Doesn’t the new design look aesthetically better?

Under-Truss Lanai Screen Enclosure Replacement

We went to Punta Gorda for a client who needs to restore his under-truss lanai screen enclosure.

Mr. Betts hired us to replace his old screen enclosure. We head on to the site and replaced the framing and structural members. Notice how the screen is kinda dark? That’s because we re-screened this structure with No-See-Ums or Superscreen 17/20 mesh. Our client can now enjoy this area with a nice breeze without worrying about insects. He was satisfied that we got the job done in less than a day.

Screen Enclosure Replacement in Naples

Our first project in Naples this week is a screen enclosure replacement.

Mr. Simone saw that we replace under-truss lanai screen enclosures on our Facebook page. He called us to fix the screen and change the framing of his enclosure. The photo on the left shows the old structure – with the damaged screen and framing obstructing his view.

The first thing we did was to replace the old framing and vertical supports that were structural members of the roof. Since this under-truss lanai was structural, we had to use a jack (similar to what is used for cars) and a long piece of metal to support the roof while we slide in the new member. After, we replaced the screens with Superscreen. Our client’s enclosure looks brand new and we removed the frames to maximize his view.

Replacing Tapcons for a Florida Homeowner

This week, we did a service call for another client in Naples.

Ms. Fenelon hired us to replace her tapcons because it was rusty. You’ll see how bad it is in the photos on the left. After removing the rusted tapcons (check them out in the photo), we cleaned most of the rust stains. We replaced it with Nylo-tec which is durable and has a 10-year warranty. Our client was very happy that we were able to get this done in a couple of hours.

Installing a Front Entryway in Naples

A client in Naples hired us for one of our most popular services – front entryway installations.

After Mr. Warner saw our hundreds of front entryway projects, he wanted to get it done on his. He called us to schedule his project and then we asked him to choose a design. He opted for a customer design door called The Ambassador.

We head to his home and then cut the frames on-site. Aside from the door, we also installed a 3-spoke sunburst and then screened-in the entryway with Phifer 20/20. It took us less than a day to complete this project on-site. Our client can now enjoy the nice breeze while relaxing in his home.

Pool Enclosure Restoration and Picture Window Conversion

This week, we completed another restoration with picture window project for a client in Naples.

Mr. Jones hired us to restore his enclosure and to maximize his view. He availed the Value Restoration package where we repaint, re-screen, and replace the fasteners with different materials to lower the cost.

When we got on-site, we first covered the pool and deck with plastic to protect it from paint drips and debris. You can see this part in the work in progress photos. After, we removed the screens so we can easily paint the frames with acrylic paint. This paint is water-based and corrosion-resistant. We then replaced the old fasteners with ceramic-coated steel and re-screened the entire pool cage with Standard Phifer 18/14.

Aside from restoration, we also converted his existing pool cage to a picture window. He availed the Silver Package which re-engineers the entire front wall for maximum view. Our client can now enjoy his amazing view without worrying about bugs.
