When your enclosure looks like this, it’s probably time to get it restored. This is what the pool cage of a client from Estero looked like before we restored it. It has become an eyesore because of the rusty fasteners, chipped paint, and discolored frames.

Our client, Ms. Vinton, wanted to make it look brand new again, so she called us to get the job done. She availed our Value Restoration Package, which includes re-screening, replacing the fasteners, and repainting the entire pool cage using different materials to lower the project cost. We also replaced the under truss enclosure, which you can see in the lower-left corner in the photo above.

Before we started, we made sure to cover the pool and deck with plastic. We then removed the screens so we can efficiently replace the fasteners and paint the frames. All the fasteners of the pool enclosure were replaced with ceramic-coated steel, which are durable fasteners that keep the cage sturdy. Next, we made it look brand new again by repainting with Sherwin Williams DTM Tough Trim. Our Value Restoration Package usually comes with Phifer 18/14, but for this project, our client upgraded their screen to superscreen. This mesh is three times stronger than the standard screen and will be able to withstand strong wind pressure for years.

We completed this project in one week. Our client is glad that her pool cage looks brand new again and that she won’t be seeing rusty fasteners, discolored frames, or an eyesore-looking pool cage anymore.
