Last week, we replaced an old enclosure for a client in Bonita Springs.

This is what Mr. Headley’s pool cage looked like before. There were frames obstructing the view and his fasteners were rusty. He saw our website and called us to replace his existing pool cage and turn it into a picture window.

For this project, we installed a new enclosure called the GCA Standard. What makes it different? First, our client is given a dedicated project manager. We also handled the permits, engineering, and site plans needed to build a new enclosure. Our client didn’t have to worry about the details!

Once everything was approved, we bring the prefabricated parts created in our facility on-site. We then do a site-specific laser cut and leveling to ensure that the structure will be durable. After, we start our clearview configuration of members, which resulted in re-engineering all sides of the pool cage to maximize the view.

Most enclosures use fiberglass screen, generic steel fasteners, epoxy paint, and have member every six inches. But not from us, our materials are better and last longer! We replaced the fasteners with the Blue-Tap model with a 10-year warranty and the tapcons with Tapcons True stainless capped with a lifetime warranty. After, we repainted the entire structure with a bronze 2604 powder coat finish. For the screens, we used Super screen 2nd gen 14/17 which also comes with a 10-year warranty.

Our efficient crew completed this project in one week. Here’s our client looking happy with his brand-new looking pool cage. No more frames and the enclosure has an estimated life expectancy of 20 years before the components need to be replaced again.
