This week, we built a pool cage and screened-in the front entryway of a client in Ave Maria. Mr. Reismann wanted to keep the bugs out of his pool area and prevent leaves and other debris from falling into it, so he called us to install an enclosure. He also wanted to prevent pests from getting inside his home so he got his front entryway screened-in.
But before we started the construction, we first needed to prepare the permits and work on the engineering and site plans. We’ve done more than a hundred pool enclosure projects, so we can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else. He also didn’t have to worry about the details because we have a dedicated project manager to handle these matters.
After acquiring the necessary permits, we head on-site. Most of the structure was prefabricated in our facility while the rest were done by site-specific laser cut and leveling. The structure has a bronze 2604 powder coat finish, allowing it to withstand the harsh Florida sun and other outdoor elements. To ensure the longevity and structural integrity of the enclosure, we used Blue-Tap Fasteners, which come with a 10-year warranty, and Tapcons Tru-stainless with a lifetime warranty.
For the screen, we used Superscreen 14/17, which also comes with a 10-year warranty. This mesh is three times more durable than the standard screen and can withstand strong wind pressure even when installed in large openings. This is suitable for this enclosure since we used a Clearview configuration of members for the ultimate view. We also installed 42’ doors and a 7” super gutter. If you’re wondering about the roof, this design is called a half mansard.
We also screened-in their front entryway. The frames for the two openings and two arches on top were custom-built on-site, which we installed along with a Clear view 36″x80″ door. We also screened it in with superscreen so that our client won’t need an upgrade for a long time.
It took us less than two weeks to complete these projects. Now, our client can enjoy his insect-free pool area with a maximized view, and not worry about getting attacked by bugs every time he opens the front door.
