This week, we screened-in the under truss of a client in Punta Gorda. Ms. Sapp wanted to keep the bugs out of her front entrance, so she called us to get the job done.

For this project, we used Standard 18/14 to screen-in her front entrance. This mesh can withstand strong thunderstorm force winds for some time over 10 years. All screens are durable when it’s newly installed, but this mesh will only be easily tearable from a regular storm after 7 to 15 years. We also configured the top half to be a clear view so that our client can enjoy the view without any frames obstructing it.

We completed this project in one day. Her front entrance is now an insect-free outdoor area where she can relax without worrying about pesky bugs invading her home.
