This week, we replaced the screen enclosure of a client in Estero. After Mr. Whipple saw our enclosure projects online, he called us to install a brand new one for him.

First, we had to prepare the permits and work on the engineering and site plans. After doing more than a hundred pool enclosure projects, we can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else. They also don’t have to worry about the details since we have a dedicated project manager handling these.

After settling the requirements, we head on-site. We mostly prefabricated the frames in our facility, while the rest of the structure was done by site-specific laser cut and leveling. The frames were applied with 2604 Powder Coat Finish, which can withstand the harsh Florida sun and other outdoor elements.

To ensure the longevity and structural integrity of the enclosure, we used Blue-Tap Fasteners, a durable model that comes with a 10-year warranty. For the screens, we used Superscreen 14/17, which also comes with a 10-year warranty. This mesh is three times stronger than the standard screen and can withstand strong wind pressure even when installed in large openings. This is suitable for this structure since we used a Clearview configuration of members for the ultimate view.

We replaced their old screen enclosure with no change to the footprint. It took us less than two weeks to get the job done. If you are wondering about the roof type, this is called a mansard. We also installed a new door, a 7″ supergutter, and new metal and screen on their under truss lanai. Our client is glad about his brand new pool cage, free of rusty fasteners, damaged screens, and frames blocking the view.
