When your enclosure has chipped, rusty paint, damaged screens, and frames blocking the view, then it’s probably due for a replacement. That’s why this week, we replaced the pool cage of a client in Naples. Mr. Hoppensteadt wanted a brand new enclosure with a maximized view, so he called us to get the job done. Here is what his old pool cage looked like:

Before we started working on-site, we first had to obtain the necessary permits and worked on the engineering and site plans. After doing more than a hundred pool enclosure projects, we can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else. Our client didn’t have to worry about the details because we have a dedicated project manager handling this process.

Once we have obtained the requirement, we got started on-site. Most of the frames were prefabricated in our facility while the rest were done with site-specific cut and leveling. The structure has a Bronze 2604 Powder Coat Finish, which was meticulously applied to withstand the harsh Florida sun and other outdoor elements. For the fasteners, we used Blue-Tap Fasteners and Tapcons Tru-stainless lifetime warranty to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of the enclosure. These also come with a 10-year warranty, similar to the mesh we used for the pool cage. We screened it in with Superscreen 14/17, which is three times stronger than the standard screen and can be installed in large openings while withstanding strong wind pressure. This is suitable for this pool cage since we used a Clearview configuration of members. Lastly, we installed a new 7″ supergutter.

Doesn’t it look better without frames blocking the view? If you’re wondering about the roof design, this is called a half mansard. Our efficient crew completed this project in less than two weeks. Now, our client has a new insect-free pool area with a maximized view.
