This week, we completed a re-screening project and fastener replacement for a client in Fort Myers. When Ms. Carroll noticed the damaged screens in her under truss enclosure, she called us to re-screen it.

Here’s what the old enclosure looks like. Check the lower right of the before photo to see the damaged screen. To fix it, we replaced the panels with superscreen, a durable mesh that can be installed on large openings while withstanding strong wind pressure without tearing. Besides rescreening, we also replaced all the fasteners. We used Nylotech, which is a sturdy fastener that comes with a 10-year warranty.

We completed this project in less than two days. With the newly-installed fasteners and screen, our client won’t need an upgrade for a long time. She won’t need to worry about bugs or rusty fasteners anymore.
